special classes for September 08...
Over the years our Biology and Chemistry classes have helped many students who went on to study at university. These students qualified as doctors, pharmacists, dentists and other medical professionals.
Our Science department has just received some welcome news for student who wish to pursue a career in science or medicine.
These classes are for A level students but soon we will be able to offer classes for GCSE students...
This meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 6th August 5.30pm at Hinsley Hall.
Volunteers
WANTED
To help with our
Reading & Numeracy Classes.
Most students need 1 to 1 help and support so we always need volunteers.
Classes run in term time only Thursday 6-8pm
@ Holy Rosary and Saint Annes School.
Volunteers receive training.
About Our Classes
Classes are held Monday-Friday from 6-8pm and on Saturday 10-2pm.

Numeracy and literacy classes - Available for all students
English classes - All students can study Maths
Maths classes - GCSE and A level students
Chemistry and Biology
Continued Support
Out of school support is essential to enable young people from family backgrounds with little knowledge of the education system and from families with no tradition of academic achievement, to realise their full educational potential.
CASEL will provide all the classes that CHALCS used to teach.
All the additional support that tutors and other volunteers used to give will also be available.
This includes the Literacy and Numeracy Scheme, which provided for children with low numeracy and reading skills.
About Tutors
The tutors at CASEL are eminently qualified in the subjects they teach.
They have all previously worked at CHALCS for 11 years as an average.
Over the years (19 years), they have supported hundreds of children who went on to university and have since then become doctors, pharmacists, architects,
actuaries, lawyers and IT professionals etc....
